mixtape EP

The Neon Gold blog posted a great remix of the Wolf Gang track "Back to Back." Here's the original.

And fellow Neon Gold-er Penguin Prison has put out a music video for his mind altering-ly good single "Something I'm Not." He played a show this week in New York, but I saw Uncle Vanya in the original Russian instead. I'm not sure I made the right choice. But I did check out Marina and the Diamonds when they played in Park Slope last month and that was killer.

First Alex Chilton, now Malcolm Mclaren. Remember how 2009 was like the year of death?

The Replacements' ode to Chilton.

Malcolm Mclaren's track from the Kill Bill II soundtrack. Played at the end when Kiddo found her daughter.

"Aphrodisiac" by Bow Wow Wow.
