phantograms

It's been pretty cool to see the XX blow up as much as they have over the last eight months. They didn't invent the guy/girl electronic template, but their success will probably make it easier for Phantogram to find a big audience in the near future. Their jam "When I'm Small" hearkens back to early Portishead and the days when Madonna was trying to sound like Portishead. I maintain that the XX is fall and winter music.
