It's full on summer as evidenced by record-breaking heat in NYC and delicious blueberries at an affordable price at the local grocery store. Is there a finer berry than the blue? I know raspberries and strawberries have their defenders, and I'll admit that they are pretty darn great especially when picked from some sun-strewn patch of dirt, the warm juices softening the fruit's flesh. The world is full of delicious things!

You'll forgive me for thinking for a second that the vocals for this My Robot Friend track were from previous collaborator Antony. Nope! It's Alison Moyet sounding bluesy and andro and great.

Passion Pit, the Knocks, Phoenix. These are the blokes that are shaping the contours of today's stadium pop sound. It's a good thing, and the Pass add to it. Plus, this is the best synched-up vid since Best Coast's "When I'm With You."
